From time to time, the Association updates its Bylaws to improve its internal processes. The last updates were in 2015 and 2020. The Bylaws are separate from the Declaration and Articles, and may be amended by the Board of Directors. Governing Docs are here.
In 2024, the legislature updated Florida Statute to significantly alter the enforcement processes for homeowners’ associations. Your Association’s Bylaws, written in 2001, were outdated when compared with these statute changes.
The Association has the ability to alter its Bylaws, at a board meeting, after proper notice.
The proposed amendment is here. These proposed changes align the association’s bylaws to Florida statute and permit the association to carry out its compliance function more effectively — with the sole purpose of maintaining consistency, protecting property values, and preserving the neighborhood’s appearance and standards.
All are welcome to attend the upcoming September 22nd, 2026 Special Board meeting, at which time this Third Amendment to the Bylaws will be considered and voted on.
