With constantly changing information on the current state of the coronavirus pandemic, the board is doing its best to fluidly adapt to current guidance from the CDC, county/city officials, legal counsel, as well as general best practices.

A new Seminole County executive order was signed today, and goes into effect May 4: Seminole County Executive Order 2020-17.

Until May 4, the pool/gym/clubhouse, tennis courts, basketball courts, and restrooms remain closed, following Seminole County and State of Florida Executive Orders, particularly: Seminole County Executive Order 2020-06 & Seminole County Executive Order 2020-08.

The draft EO communication from the County shared yesterday and the final EO signed midday today varied significantly. The new Executive Order is not specific, and we have been in contact with the County for clarification. They are unable to effectively, definitively, and clearly explain how to open the pool, and also be in compliance. As a result, the board has reached out to legal counsel for guidance on how to proceed and expects to have an update prior to May 4, 2020.

The association desires to open the amenities, but will only do so when it is sure it is in compliance. The association is fervently assessing options to achieve this goal.
