ARC:

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is in need of volunteers! Our governing documents require us to have an ARC; it is not a “nice to have”, it is a “must have”. We are looking for at least 2 additional volunteers to round out this committee and ensure quorum is met at the monthly meetings. The ARC plays an incredibly important role in The Sanctuary. ARC approval is required for improvements like roofs, paint, landscaping, pools, screen enclosures, solar panels, etc.

We hope to see potential members who have an active desire to serve our community willingly step forward.

Typical ARC member duties are as follows:

  • Attend monthly meetings and carefully review requests based on aesthetics and compliance with our Architectural Guidelines. Meetings are the second Thursday of the month at 8pm.
  • Review applications during the month and discuss issues via email.
  • Observe requests from the chair to hold votes during the month as actions without an official meeting
  • In rotation with other members, review paint applications for the Committee by driving by applicant homes and noting colors that are the same or similar to neighboring homes.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Architectural Guidelines/Community Standards of The Sanctuary.

CEC:

The Association is seeking Members for the Covenant Committee. In order to implement the Association’s defined covenants policy, Florida law requires an independent committee to review matters that have reached the final stage of the enforcement process.

This committee must be made up of three or more Members that are fully independent from the board. The committee reviews matters to confirm or deny the board’s decision to progress them along the enforcement process with the “work” being about 10 minutes per month, and management performs the pre-work for the committee to streamline the process.

Social:

The community is in need of volunteers to OWN (plan/execute/solicit volunteers, etc.) all aspects of the following community social events:

  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Last Day of School
  • Back to School
  • Winter Festival

Without volunteers willing to own and lead these events, they will not happen in 2025.
