The Association is pleased to announce that after discussing and refining this project at more than a dozen meetings since October 2018, the Clubhouse remodel is slated to begin on September 27. The demolition and renovation is expected to last ~8 weeks and we are hoping to reopen by mid-December. Updates will be posted on thesanctuaryhoa.org
Please note: the entire Clubhouse will be completely closed to Members during this time (the rest of the Amenity Center – pool, playground, sports courts – will remain open). We recognize this is an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we continue to update and enhance our amenities for your future enjoyment.
Some facts about the project:
- Discussions for the project began in October 2018
- Multiple bids were received, the design concept was refined over multiple meetings, and the project in general was discussed in detail at more than a dozen meetings since October 2018
- Commercial-grade furnishings, fixtures, and equipment are being installed to better withstand the frequent use by our Members and their guests
- The project is supported by the most recent reserves study
- The project is substantially funded through reserves specifically set aside for this purpose, with the remainder to come from the operating budget as set aside in the 2020 (communicated in Fall 2019) and the 2021 (communicated in Fall 2020) budgets.
