When you purchases a home in The Sanctuary, you become a part of the homeowners’ association (HOA). The HOA is established by the community’s recorded governing documents. These documents include the by-laws, articles of incorporation and Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs). The documents provide for the association’s governance and establish a process for holding elections, adopting an association budget and establishing rules related to use of the property within the community. They also establish the maintenance and upkeep expectations of the homes.

The majority of residents follow the CC&Rs, which in this case are designed to promote an attractive curb appeal and preserve home values. From time to time, there may be occasion when an infraction of the rules exists. We have found that in most cases, a resident may be unaware of a particular community rule and the violations are quickly resolved when the resident is notified with a courtesy letter. For further action, CC&Rs also specify provisions for enforcement.

It is important to remember that the beauty and attractiveness of the homes is part of what drew Members to purchase in The Sanctuary, and the rules are there to maintain that level of curb appeal for the benefit of all.
